Member of the Month Awards

Each month, the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce recognizes an "Outstanding Member" for their continued support of the Regional Chamber and the community at large.  As selected by the Regional Chamber's Recognition Committee, these members are recognized each month during the Network Tri-Cities Luncheon program.

November 2014 Member of the Month - SIGN Fracture Care International

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce SIGN Fracture Care International as the November “Outstanding Member of the Month.” Since joining the Regional Chamber in 2011, SIGN Fracture Care has maintained a continuous presence at Regional Chamber functions and has participated as a sponsor of the Good Health is Good Business Program.  More importantly we would like to thank SIGN Fracture Care for the incredible work they do around the world. It was reported earlier this year that SIGN trained Doctors had performed over 125,000 surgeries in more than 53 countries. SIGN has received numerous awards over the years recognizing them as 2010 Manufacturer of the Year, 2011 Nonprofit Company of the Year, and 2013 Patent for Humanity Award…just to name a few.

October 2014 Member of the Month - Perfection Glass

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Perfection Glass as the October “Outstanding Member of the Month.” Many Tri-Cities natives have experienced their excellent customer service as they have been serving the Tri-Cities for over 35 years and they’ve held their membership with the Regional Chamber for the last 27 years. They have been awarded Window & Door Magazine’s 2011 Dealer of the Year and a 2014 Top Specialist.  Most recently, Perfection Glass has committed to donate $100 to our local Habitat for Humanity for every Seahawks touchdown scored during the 2014 season!

The Regional Chamber is proud to recognize Perfection Glass as the Member of the Month! We thank you for setting an excellent example of a successful local business and for the reminder of how important and impactful it is to give back to the community.


September 2014 Member of the Month - Cascade Natural Gas

?The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Cascade Natural Gas Corporation as the September “Outstanding Member of the Month.” Through 10 years of membership Cascade Natural Gas Corp. has demonstrated consistent dedication to the Regional Chamber through serving on our Board of Directors and sponsorships of four major events! It’s nearly impossible to attend a regional chamber event or function without seeing representation from Cascade Natural Gas Corp. It is because of members like this, that the Regional Chamber has been able to develop & improve its programs year after year.

August 2014 Member of the Month - WSU Tri-Cities

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Washington State University Tri-Cities as the August “Outstanding Member of the Month.” Through their 36 years of membership and 25 years in our community Washington State University has has demonstrated consistent dedication to evolve with the growing community. The Regional Chamber would like to acknowledge their involvement in the Small Business Resource Committee, Awards and Recognition committee, and as an ex-officio on the Board of Directors. We look forward to what is to come for WSU Tri-Cities and we appreciate their vision which supports a vibrant student life, enhanced cultural and recreational activities, and expanded academic programs.

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Columbia Industries as the July “Outstanding Member of the Month.” Through 28 years of membership and 50 successful years of business, Columbia Industries has demonstrated consistent dedication to assisting people of all abilities in our community. As a long standing business in the Tri-Cities the Regional Chamber would like to acknowledge their effort to evolve, which was demonstrated during the opening of the CI Community Center – A safe, creative, and supervised place for people with disabilities to find social connection, life enrichment, and community integration.

We congratulate Columbia Industries on 50 successful years of business and thank you for your continued support of the Regional Chamber!

June 2014 Member of the Month - Lampson International, LLC


The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Lampson International, LLC as the June “Outstanding Member of the Month.” The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Lampson International, LLC not only for their commitment to the Regional Chamber through 28 years of membership, but also for their support of the entire community. Lampson International's community focus is exemplified in their involvement in the annual Cable Bridge Run, the Tri-City Water Follies, the installation of the 9/11 Memorial at the Southridge Sports Complex and their donations to the Regional Chamber’s River of Fire Festival; it’s hard to find a month during the year that they are not contributing in some way to the Tri-Cities community. We would also like to recognize their support of STEM education as they recently visited Finley Elementary to educate students about local jobs that utilize science, technology, engineering and mathematics skills.

May 2014 Member of the Month - Abadan

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Abadan as the May “Outstanding Member of the Month.” The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Abadan based on their commitment to the Regional Chamber through 26 years of membership and support through various sponsorships, event participation and contributions to the Regional Chamber’s Small Business Incentive Program. Throughout Abadan's six-decade history, they have maintained a significant presence in the communities that they serve; among their many projects and donations they raised over $33,000 during the years of 2012 and 2013 to benefit regional food banks and health centers. The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce PayneWest Insurance as the February “Outstanding Member of the Month.” The Awards & Recognition Committee selected PayneWest Insurance for their support and participation in many aspects of the Regional Chamber. In addition to 37 years of membership, in 2013, Mike McWhorter donated his time and expertise serving as the Chair of the Regional Chamber’s Board of Directors. During his time as Board Chair, PayneWest Insurance committed to a Visionary level membership. Additionally, staff of PayneWest Insurance have served on committees and actively participated in the Regional Chamber’s Ambassador Club. PayneWest Insurance has been a dedicated and valued member of the Regional Chamber and for that, we thank you!

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Just Roses, Flowers & More as the September “Outstanding Member of the Month.” The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Just Roses, Flowers & More, based on their involvement in the Regional Chamber and willingness to give back to the local community. Just Roses, Flowers & More, is truly a home grown business - Headquartered in Kennewick, WA, they opened for business in 1989 working out of a 300 square foot retail space. In 1993, they started franchising and today they have locations operating out of the Tri-Cities, Spokane, Walla Walla and Wenatchee. Since joining the Regional Chamber in 1996, Just Roses, Flowers & More has donated a flower arrangement to nearly every Regional Chamber luncheon and major event. This gesture is truly appreciated. Thank you Sandy & Connie Wormington and the staff of Just Roses, Flowers & More for your donations and continued support.

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Dutch Bros. Coffee as the August "Outstanding Member of the Month." The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Dutch Bros. Coffee based on their involvement in the local community. Not only are they supporters of the Regional Chamber, but Dutch Bros. Coffee also fundraises annually for numerous organizations including the Tri-Cities Cancer Center, Muscular Dystrophy Association and most recently, for local resident Cassidy Almquist, where they raised over $29,000 in one day to support her recovery. We'd also like to congratulate them on the recent opening of a third Kennewick location. Thank you Nate Frary and the entire Dutch Bros. Coffee staff!

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Moon Security as July’s “Outstanding Member of the Month.” The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Moon Security based on their continued support of the Regional Chamber through 22 years of membership and outlasting commitment to the River of Fire Festival. Each year they provide numerous employees who volunteer 100% of their time to help during the 4th of July holiday by creating the event security plan, working and coordinating with local police officers, onsite security during the event as well as overnight park security the night of the 4th. Thank you to Mike Miller, Rick Nixon and the entire staff at Moon Security for donating so much time and effort to make the River of Fire Festival the success that it is.

The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Port of Benton as the June "Outstanding Member of the Month." The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Port of Benton based on their continued support of the Regional Chamber; Port of Benton has been a member of the Chamber for 36 years! They are also longtime supporters and sponsors of the Cool Desert Nights event, which just wrapped up its 20th Year! 700 classic cars, street rods and motorcycles turned out for four days of family fun!

The Tri-City Regional Chamber is pleased to announce Cherry Creek Radio as May’s “Outstanding Member of the Month.”  They were selected based on their continued support of the Regional Chamber; specifically, the River of Fire Festival, Golf Classic and The Business Expo. We are pleased to also share that the station 610 KONA has recently been honored with two Region 1 Edward R. Murrow awards for journalistic excellence. The winning entries include “Best Newscast” for their coverage of the 2012 Republican National Convention as well as “Best Breaking News Coverage” for Dennis Shannon’s coverage of the Pendleton Bus Crash in December 30th, 2012. Congratulations Cherry Creek Radio!

The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Campbell & Company as the recipient of the April “Outstanding Member of the Month.” The Awards & Recognition Committee selected Campbell & Company based on their involvement in our local community.  Not only are they supporters of the Regional Chamber but Campbell & Company also supports numerous other organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Carson Kolzig Foundation, American Diabetes Association, several local area schools and sports organizations, and many others.  In 2012 they were awarded Residential Contractor of the Year by Contracting Business Magazine.  They’ve recently expanded and opened an office in Yakima, and this year marks 30 years in Business this year!

We’d also like to congratulate them on their beautiful new building in Pasco and thank them for their investment in our community. AgriNorthwest was selected as the November "Outstanding Member of the Month" for their generous support of the Chamber’s grassroots coalition – P.O.W.E.R.: Protecting Our Washington Energy Rates along with the continued support throughout the community. Thank you Tom Mackay for personal involvement in the coalition and AgriNorthwest for their financial support of this important issue!


October 2012 Member of the Month - Washington River Protection Solutions

Washington River Protection Solutions was selected as the October “Outstanding Member of the Month” for their extremely generous support of many of the Chamber’s programs, but in particularly, the Small Business Incentive Program. Their generous contribution of $30,000 allowed 43 member businesses to receive up to $1,000 in training, software, equipment, or websites. Thank you, Washington River Protection Solutions, for your commitment to the Regional Chamber and our success!

Vista Engineering Technologies played a significant role in the overall development of the Regional Chamber's Good Health is Good Business program.  Impacting more than 430 people throughout the region, Vista's contributing support in personnel and resources are helping to make a difference in the community.


August 2012 Member of the Month - Railex

Railex recently broke ground on their 500,000 sq. ft. Wine Services Distribution Center in Wallula, and is teaming with Ste. Michelle Wine Estates to create the first rail based system to transport wine efficiently and sustainably across the U.S.
