Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce Announces Annual Meeting Award Winners

Tri-Cities, WA – The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce presented eight awards to individuals and businesses that achieved business success and demonstrated outstanding support to the Tri-Cities region and the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce during 2013. The award winners were honored on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon, an event attended by 500 people to celebrate the achievements of the business community. Award winners met specific criteria and exemplified the entrepreneurial spirit.

A list of the awards and award winners follows:

• The Tri-City Region Alumnus of Distinction Award
An honorary award presented to a successful individual who has ties to the Tri-Cities region:
Presented to Jeremy Jaech, CEO of SNUPI Technologies

• Ambassador of the Year Award
Based on points earned from service to the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce during 2013 as a Regional Chamber Ambassador:
Presented to Jim Carey, Cruise Holidays

• Chamber S.T.A.R. Award
Presented to a Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce member, Board Member or Ambassador who has demonstrated exceptional service, time, attitude and reliability to the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce:
Presented to Mike Neitzel, Benton Franklin Orthopedic Associates

• Impact Award (Corporate Contributor of the Year)
Based on overall financial support and participation to the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce, including membership, sponsorships and advertising:
Presented to Washington River Protection Solutions

• Impact Award (Non-Profit/Community Organization Contributor of the Year)
Based on overall support and participation to the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce, including membership, sponsorships and advertising:
Presented to Tri-Cities Cancer Center.

• Business on a Roll Awards based on percentage of revenue growth in 2013, percentage of employee growth in 2013, national or industry awards and recognitions for the 2013 year and community involvement:
Presented to Claar Cellars (Under 10 employees category)
Presented to Frost Me Sweet (11 – 50 employees category)
Presented to Ice Harbor Brewing Company (Over 50 employees)
