- Data regarding the job performance of often-overlooked individuals
- Effective tools for recruiting and hiring employees with a range of “lived experience”
- Employee accommodation needs and ways to meet them

About the Speakers:
Susan Mason is a co-founder and Executive Director of What’s Next – Washington. Susan is active in the reentry community and sits on the Washington Voting Justice Coalition, the Coalition for an Independent Corrections Ombuds, and the FARE (Fair and Accessible Rental [housing] for Everyone) Housing Coalition. She is also a member of the National
Council of Currently and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls and is a sought-after advocate within organizations that seek to empower and improve the lives of the formerly incarcerated. She is a current national Council 2019 Reimagining Communities Fellow and a 2018 Just Leadership USA Leading with Conviction Fellow. Susan spent 15 years in the
mortgage industry before becoming an advocate and organizer. She was incarcerated in federal prison from 2002-2003.

Roz Solomon is co-founder and current board president. She practiced law and was an administrative law judge hearing employment cases, as well as teaching law as an adjunct at Seattle University for 20 years. She co-founded the Washington Business Alliance with Howard Behar and David Guiliani in 2010 and served as their executive director for three years. Roz is committed to the idea that all people deserve the dignity of inclusion and full human rights.
