The Richland Public Facilities District (RPFD) and Arts Center Task Force (ACTF) are taking applications for a special visioning workshop to explore the potential construction of additional public facilities in Columbia Park West (CPW), where the REACH Museum is located.
The RPFD is considering a long-term plan to create a comprehensive STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Arts, Music) park. They want to know what facilities and amenities the people of the Tri-Cities would like to see in this space. “This workshop will provide participants the opportunity to share ideas and help define the future of our community,” according to Steven Wiley, RFPD President. “We are looking for a diverse group of community representatives to join us in contributing their valuable perspectives in this important conversation.” The event will be facilitated by Erik Ralston with Fuse Business Accelerator Group. Interested participants must fill out and submit a form to be considered at https://form.jotform.com/242254679749068, which includes their availability. Due to limited capacity, invitations will be extended based on various criteria to ensure a diverse and balanced group of participants. The workshop will be held this fall in Richland, with exact time and place to be announced. To learn more about the workshop, the RPFD, and ACTF, go to https://www.artscentertaskforce.com/about-5.
