The City of Pasco is proposing increased irrigation rates, as well as a connection fee for new customers. Residents, business owners, and media representatives are invited to join a community listening session on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Pasco City Hall (525 N. 3rd Ave) to discuss the proposed changes.
The proposed increase is needed to improve our irrigation system’s reliability and prepare for future growth. These updates aim to maintain and upgrade aging infrastructure to ensure consistent water pressure for all current and future irrigation customers. The upcoming listening session is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the proposed changes, ask questions, and provide feedback. City staff will be present to discuss the proposal and answer questions. Public input is critical as the City works to ensure fair, transparent, and sustainable solutions for the irrigation system. If approved by the City Council, the updates would take effect in March 2025.
