Gift of Art Donation Celebration

On Thursday, May 9th, 10:30am, STCU leadership, City of Kennewick Council and staff, Kennewick Arts Commission, and community members will gather to celebrate the completed artwork adjacent to the STCU Southridge Financial and Home Loan Center at 4704 W Hildebrand Blvd, Kennewick, WA.

Why: STCU added roundabout art and redesigned landscaping to be donated to the City of Kennewick public art collection

Jennifer Corio and Dave Frei, of Cobalt Designworks were hired by STCU in 2018 to create an art installation for the roundabout next to the first STCU Tri-Cities branch that opened in Kennewick last November. The piece they chose was titled Blossoming Joy and consists of three vibrantly colored flowers measuring over twenty feet high. Three cutout steel figures create a silhouette of a family member swinging around the flowers stem.
