Mid-Columbia Libraries (MCL) is working with Miss Tri-Cities Teen Hadley Bleazard to distribute Dyslexia Reading Kits to the community. Bleazard will be donating 300 kits she prepared to MCL. MCL will be distributing the kits at all of their locations to help dyslexic readers.
These kits are one piece of Bleazard’s “Embracing Dyslexia” initiative she undertook as part of Miss America’s community service initiative. She will drop off the initial batch of kits at Mid- Columbia Libraries’ West Pasco branch on Sept. 5, at 10 am and will restock the kits to ensure everyone that needs them can have access to them. MCL will help Bleazard increase access to these kits by making them available at all MCL locations.
