Pasco Celebrates 250 Years with Grand Old 4th of July Event

As the nation celebrates 250 years of American Independence, the City of Pasco will host its annual Grand Old 4th of July celebration.
 
The festivities begin on Saturday, June 27, with the annual Free Family Bike Ride at Riverview Park. Attendees of all ages are invited to ride bikes, trikes, scooters, unicycles – or just walk - along the riverfront trail from 8:00-10:00AM. Refreshments will be offered at the finish line, with a drawing for prizes at 10:00AM. All registered participants are eligible for prizes!
 
Then, on July 4, start your day off right with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Memorial Park - just $7 per person starting at 7:00AM. At 9:15, kids will have a chance to burn off some energy with a street dance before the annual parade rolls through. 
 
At noon, we'll have a classic car show at Memorial Park, plus the beloved Cardboard Regatta at 1:00PM and inflatables open from 12:00-4:00PM. 
 
Battle of the Bands returns to Gesa Stadium this year, with free admission for all attendees. Gates open at 6:30 PM and music starts at 7:30 PM. Attendees will be able to vote for their favorite band, before we wrap up the celebration with a spectacular fireworks show starting at 10PM.

Fireworks will be legal to purchase and use beginning June 28, but not all fireworks are legal in Pasco. Residents are encouraged to review City regulations before purchasing or using fireworks. Those looking for a safe, family-friendly alternative are invited to attend the free fireworks display at Gesa Stadium.
