Comedian Brett Hollis is putting the “Fun” in “Funeral” at his comedy show “Die Laughing” at Sunset Gardens in Richland. The performance includes a real funeral-like setting, complete with a casket and flowers, and visitors are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes to add to the festivities. Attendees should expect a lighthearted look at life, death and the afterlife, with the comedy show offering a twist at the end, where he’ll explain how everyone has the ability to die laughing one day.
In addition to being a comedian, Hollis is an Ordained Minister whose history of performing at funerals has led to his ability to look at the brighter side of life and death. Through his show, Hollis aims to allow people to laugh at things they never felt permission to laugh at before. With more than 24 years of experience performing, Hollis invites you to come for a really good laugh. Drinks will be available for purchase, with complimentary water, pretzels and popcorn.
