Traffic Alert: Temporary Closure of Trowbridge Blvd. at Dallas Road Now Begins August 12

As construction continues on the Dallas Road Roundabouts project, the City of Richland is notifying motorists of an upcoming traffic change that will impact the Trowbridge Boulevard and Dallas Road intersection.

Beginning Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Trowbridge Boulevard will be closed at its intersection with Dallas Road to accommodate essential construction work. The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks, with an anticipated reopening in early September.

During this time, eastbound and westbound traffic on Trowbridge Boulevard will be detoured via Gateway Avenue. Additionally, a lane shift traffic control operation will be present at the intersection of Ava Way.

Motorists are advised to follow all posted detour signs, drive with caution, and plan for potential delays when traveling in the area.

The Dallas Road Roundabouts project is designed to improve traffic flow and safety at key intersections in this growing part of our community. We appreciate the public’s continued patience and cooperation as the contractor works to complete this important infrastructure upgrade.
