Traffic Safety Improvement Projects Set to Begin in Richland

The City of Richland is making progress on important traffic safety enhancements throughout the community. The Systemic Stop-Controlled Intersection Safety Improvement Project is nearing completion.

As part of this work, the westbound lane of the Swift Blvd and Wright Ave roundabout will be closed from August 4th - August 15th. A clearly marked detour will be in place to help guide drivers safely around the area (see detour graphic). We appreciate your patience and understanding as this work is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

In addition, installation of the Advanced Warning System at the intersection of Duportail Street and Kennedy Road is expected to be completed by August 8.
