The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is holding a free community presentation called Conquering Colon Cancer, A Personal Story on Thursday, March 12th from 12:00PM to 1:00PM. Speaker Judy Simpson, a trainer at Therapy Solutions, will share her personal experience on what it takes to get through cancer care. She wants to share her story in the hopes she can help others get through it with strength, hope and dignity. Our community is encouraged to take part in this free presentation.
This presentation will take place at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. RSVP is required. Lunch is provided with RSVP. March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. 8.3% of all cancer cases were colorectal cancer in 2019. It is the fourth most common cancer. The Tri-Cities Cancer Center is able to offer programs like this, at no cost, thanks to community support through the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation. Donations to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation stay local and provide valuable non-reimbursed cancer programs and services for patients, their families, and the community.
