Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, in collaboration with Guardian Angel Homes, invites community members to an interactive and educational event designed to shift the perception of hospice—from a place associated with sorrow and endings to one centered on presence, comfort, and meaningful living.
The event will take place Wednesday, December 10, from 4–6 p.m. at Guardian Angel in Richland participants will learn how to replace fear with understanding, see hospice as a supportive care system rather than a last resort, navigate conversations about death, care wishes, and dignity, and feel more empowered, informed, and supported when facing serious illness. “We want our community to feel confident having conversations about end-of-life care,” said Alane Wilkerson, Marketing & Communications Supervisor at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy. “Hospice is not about giving up—it’s about ensuring comfort, connection, and the opportunity to live your best life, even in the final chapter of life.” This event is free and open to the public. All community members, caregivers, and professionals are encouraged to RSVP and attend.
