Tri-Cities Community Health Hosts Back to School Fair August 14

Tri-Cities Community Health will host its annual Back to School Fair this Friday, August 14th. Families throughout the Tri-Cities region are welcome to attend between 9am and 1pm at 715 W. Court St. in Pasco. Over 2,500 free backpacks filled with school supplies will be available, including notebooks, pencils, crayons, pencil pouches and colored pencils. Also, thanks to our mobile health units on site, we’re able to offer the opportunity for school physicals for those who need to meet sports participation requirements, as covered by most insurance plans or a flat fee.

Joining this year’s event are many community partners who have made donations and/or will have information for adults and activities for kids to make for a fun and informative event for everyone! Confirmed community partners include; Ben Franklin Transit, Mid-Columbia Libraries, Pasco School District, Richland Public Library, Benton Franklin Health District, Molina Healthcare, WellPoint, Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW), Coordinated Care, Campbell and Company, Lindahl Reed, Benton Franklin Legal Aid, Gesa Credit Union, STCU, ICCU, WorkSource, Tri-Cities YMCA, Pasco Parks & Recreation, Benton Franklin Head Start, Arts Barber Academy, who will be providing free haircuts, Tri-City Chaplaincy (Cork's Place), Mid-Columbia Children's Museum, Big Bro Joe Foundation, Quake Family Fun Center, GenCare, and Dust Devils mascot "Dusty" (10 a.m. – Noon).
