Mid-Columbia Libraries will begin the remodel of its West Richland branch in early 2019. The permanent branch, located at 3803 W. Van Giesen, will close Dec. 11-12 for moving. The temporary branch, located behind the permanent branch in the former City of West Richland Public Works building, will open Dec. 13, and the library will host its holiday family fun event, Grinch-mas, that day at 4 pm.
Library hours and services at the temporary branch will remain the same as at the permanent branch. Operations will continue at the temporary branch while the main branch undergoes renovations. The remodel will begin in January 2019 and take approximately three to four months.
