The Academy of Children’s Theatre is raising funds to help send its cast and crew for the upcoming production of “Keeping Mr. Lincoln” to a children’s theatre festival in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania next June.
A fabric and costume rummage sale will be held at ACT on Saturday, November 17th from 4p-6p at ACT, 213 Wellsian Way. Fabric bags will be sold for $5 or $10 and all costumes will be either $5 or $10. In addition, a holiday plant sale is also in progress in support of the travel opportunity. A variety of locally grown poinsettia and holiday gifts are available for online purchase at: www.actgrowingsmilesfundraising.com. “Keeping Mr. Lincoln” will perform locally in February, then participate next June 19-23 in a children’s theatre festival organized by the American Association of Community Theatres.
