Ben Franklin Transit Offers Summer Youth Passes for Kids and an Added Summer Route from June-August6/4/2019 Ben Franklin Transit (BFT) will begin offering reduced summer fare programs for K-12* students to stay connected this summer, starting June 1. BFT will also offer a seasonal route that will run to and from The REACH Museum at the West end of Columbia Park.
BFT is offering two reduced, seasonal youth bus fares, including a Summer Youth Pass that gives students in grades K-12 unlimited rides June 1 through August 31 for $25, and a Dollar Day Pass for all youth boarding BFT buses to ride throughout the Tri-Cities for an entire day for only $1. Community members can learn more and purchase Summer Youth Passes at www.bft.org/Summer. The three-month Summer Youth Passes may also be purchased at any BFT ticket outlet location, also listed on the program webpage. The new summer route will be an hourly seasonal route that originates at Three Rivers Transit Center and runs to The REACH Museum from about 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, from June 17 to August 24. *Children 5 and under always ride free on BFT buses.
