Ben Franklin Transit (BFT) is holding an open house to gather community input on a potential new Downtown Pasco Transit Center, and the public is invited. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 27, at 6 p.m. at the Mid-Columbia Libraries’ Pasco Branch located at 1320 W. Hopkins Street.
A preferred concept has been selected for the transit center, which will cater to the needs of residents in East Pasco and those who frequent downtown businesses. At the Open House, participants will learn about the proposed plans for the transit center, be given an opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions, and have their questions answered by BFT staff members. The proposed new facility would be built on the vacant, former bank site on N. 11th Avenue between W. Clark Street and W. Bonneville Street, which Ben Franklin Transit purchased in 2022.
