Cancer Center to Honor Survivors June 28 and 29

In honor of National Cancer Survivor Month, the Tri-Cities Cancer Center will host two events to honor cancer survivors in our region.

Cancer Crushing Radiothon
On Thursday, June 28th through Friday, June 29th, 98.3 The Key will broadcast live from the Tri-Cities Cancer Center for the 2nd Annual Cancer Crushing Radiothon. The 24-hour station takeover will begin at 8am on June 28th and will continue through 8am on June 29th. The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is the presenting sponsor for this event.

Through on-air interviews and powerful testimonials, the Radiothon will celebrate survivors and educate listeners on the care and services provided by the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. During the 24-hour Radiothon, listeners will be able support the Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation by tuning to 98.3 The Key and making a pledge by calling (509) 737-3477 or by visiting tccancer.org/foundation/Radiothon and making an online donation. Cancer Survivor Celebration
During the Cancer Crushing Radiothon, the Tri-Cities Cancer Center will host a Cancer Survivor Celebration. The event will take place on Thursday, June 28th from 5:30 – 7:30pm in the Deschutes parking lot at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. All cancer survivors and their families are invited to join us for a free BBQ and games. Survivors are also encouraged to share their stories of hope, healing, celebration and survivorship with the Cancer Center by emailing [email protected] before June 28th.
