The 2023 Summer Reading Program runs through August 21. Readers can participate in fun challenges and activities, attend cool programs, and win awesome prizes. There are four reading challenges – baby, youth, teen, and adult.
This year’s theme is “Find Your Voice,” which means your voice has power. We use our voices to share stories, express ourselves, and spark change. Our voices include the sounds we make, the words we write, the art we create, the movements we perform, and the actions we take each day to impact our world. All you have to do is register online or through the Beanstack app on your phone, keep track of the time/days you read or listen to a book and complete the challenges, activities, or book reviews which in turn earn you badges to win prizes. The prizes are geared toward each reading level and include bicycles, a skating party, gift cards (up to $100) and a Nintendo Switch! To register, or for more information, visit https://richland.beanstack.org/reader365. There are also special programs for all ages this summer designed to help you find your artistic skills through writing workshops, crafts, and more!
