The Friends of Mid-Columbia Libraries (FOL) hosts its fall used book sale at Mid-Columbia Libraries’ Kennewick Branch, located at 1620 S. Union St. in Kennewick, from Nov. 4 through Nov. 13. All book sale proceeds benefit Mid-Columbia Libraries.
The pre-sale for FOL members only is Friday, Nov. 4 from 10:30 am to 1 pm; non-members are welcome from 1 pm to 4 pm that day. The cost of a Friends membership is $5 a year, and new members can sign up at the door or online at midcolumbialibraries.org/FOL. Hours vary throughout the remainder of the sale. Hours for Nov. 5, 6, 12 and 13 are 10:30 am to 4 pm. Hours for Nov. 7 through Nov. 10 are 9:30 am to 4 pm. There will be no sale Nov. 11 as all branches will be closed for Veteran’s Day. FOL accept debit and credit card payments. Customers are encouraged to bring their own box or bag. Community members can support the FOL by becoming a member or by making a donation. Funds support library performers, programs, and more. Volunteers can contact Fernie Coe at 509-322-6949 for opportunities and information. FOL is accepting physical donations at all branches.
