Effective today, Mission Support Alliance (MSA) has begun a 120-day contract transition period. As the winning bid team, the newly formed Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) will be the contractor for the new Hanford Mission Essential Services Contract. HMIS will work closely with MSA during this transition period to ensure a smooth and deliberate process for all.
A new, public website for HMIS is now available here. This website will be updated regularly and will be an important source of information for employees, subcontractors and the community. Subcontractors who are interested in doing business with HMIS should consult this website for more information, which will begin to be populated over the next several weeks. The website will also include our community plan which shows how HMIS intends to provide support to this incredible community. HMIS will ensure safety first while increasing efficiency and effectiveness through our Service Delivery Model and Connected Enterprise while balancing priorities, navigating complexities, and building consensus. “As we begin this transition in partnership with DOE, the HMIS team looks forward to integrating itself with employees, local businesses, community, and the One Hanford team to continue to build upon the excellent progress currently being made cleaning up the Hanford Site,” says Bob Wilkinson, president of HMIS and current president of MSA.
