Heartlinks Joins the Giving Tuesday Movement for the Third Year

Heartlinks has joined GivingTuesday, a day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. 

Tuesday, Nov. 27 is GivingTuesday, a national day for giving to nonprofits -- including Heartlinks! The goal is to raise $2,000 dollars in 24 hours, which will help purchase blankets, clothing, and other patient comfort items. These small gifts will bring joy to the families that we serve all year long. 

“Last year, we were able to raise $995 of a $1,000 goal, just $5 shy of hitting our goal. This year, we have set a big goal of securing $1,000 in matching gifts before Nov. 27. If our community matches last year, we will double the power of our donations!” said Shelby Moore, Development Director for Heartlinks.
