Kennewick Library Hosts May the Fourth Readers Theatre Event

Mid-Columbia Libraries, together with The Rude Mechanicals, invites the community to join in the celebration of Star Wars Day with a special readers theatre performance on Saturday, May 4 at 6 pm at Kennewick library, located at 1620 S. Union St. in Kennewick.

The Rude Mechanicals, a local theatre company dedicated to the production of Shakespeare and Shakespeare-inspired plays, will present “William Shakespeare’s The Force Doth Awaken: Star Wars Part the Seventh.” This special event is free and open to all ages, and costumes are encouraged.

Fans can see Ian Doescher, author of “William Shakespeare’s The Force Doth Awaken: Star Wars Part the Seventh” and other William Shakespeare’s Star Wars favorites, on Saturday, May 18 at 3 pm at Kennewick library. Learn more at midcolumbialibraries.org.
