Officials at Lourdes Health Network announced today that the partnership between the hospital and RCCH HealthCare Partners will become effective at 12:01 a.m. on September 1, 2018. The hospital had been part of Ascension, the nation’s largest non-profit health system.
“I truly believe becoming a member of RCCH HealthCare Partners will make Lourdes a stronger organization, giving us new opportunities for growth,” said John Serle, Chief Executive Officer of Lourdes Health Network. “This partnership will bring additional resources to our growing community and allow us to expand services and recruit specialists, so residents can get care they need right here at home.” The transaction was approved by the State of Washington Attorney General’s office on August 6, 2018. “We are honored to be partnering with Lourdes Health Network to help ensure the continued high quality of care they’ve provided for this community,” said Marty Rash, Chairman and CEO of RCCH HealthCare Partners. “With more than 100 years of service to the people of the region and a well-earned reputation for high quality, compassionate care, we look forward to working with and learning from Lourdes’ associates as well as sharing with them and investing in resources for growth.” RCCH HealthCare Partners works with communities to build strong regional healthcare systems that are known for quality patient care. RCCH has a strong presence in the Pacific Northwest including Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville, Oregon; St. Joe’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho; and Community Medical Center in Missoula, Montana. Through their public private partnership with UW Medicine, RCCH also owns and operates Capital Medical Center in Olympia, Washington and Trios Health in Kennewick, Washington.
