"Stuff the Backpack" Event to be Held at Pasco Planet Fitness Opening

​Planet Fitness® in Pasco and Kennewick are excited to announce their partnership with Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tri-Cities.

In celebration of this new partnership along with the opening of the new Pasco location, Planet Fitness® will be hosting a “Stuff the Backpack” event at their Grand Opening celebration at 5710 Road 68 in Pasco, WA, on August 15 between 4 and 6 PM. To commemorate the occasion, Planet Fitness® will donate 50 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to teens from the BG club.

The event will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4pm with the Chamber of Commerce and some city dignitaries; guests will have the chance to win free prizes, tour the club, eat free pizza and meet some of the PF and the BG staff members. Additionally, the celebration provides an opportunity for community members to meet teens from the BG club and to sign up to be Big Brothers and Sisters to some of these teens and contribute to the BG club backpack drive by bringing in additional supplies to drop in the donation boxes located in the gym. In addition, all enrollment fees Planet Fitness ® Pasco collects from new members who sign up between August 15 and 31st will be donated to BG club.
