This week, Three Rivers Place, an Enlivant community, celebrates National Senior Health and Fitness Day! In honor of the holiday, the community will host “Healthy Living: Body, Mind and Spirit for Seniors,” a free health fair focusing on whole-person wellness that will feature a wide variety of activities to engage the bodies, minds and spirits of older adults in the area.
To RSVP, please contact Nelly 509-582-0207 or 509-572-0643 by 01/30/2019. The event will be held at the community at 1108 W 5th Ave Kennewick. The health fair is open to all seniors and is complimentary. A wide variety of activities for the body, mind and spirit will be offered, ranging from vision and blood pressure checks, to learning more about the community’s bingo club, daily prayer or trivia, to a wellness lecture or art instruction class. All attendees should be prepared to be surprised! “National Senior Health and Fitness Day celebrates today’s active older adult. A health fair is the ideal way for us to demonstrate how our community’s residents are stimulated in mind, body and spirit, and are supported by staff in ways that a traditional home setting does not offer,” said Executive Director Earleen Linn. “We look forward to sharing our diverse programming with Tri-City seniors, and having them take part in activities they may not have previously tried.”
