Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, a leading provider of compassionate end-of-life care and grief support services, is pleased to announce the successful sale of the original Cork's Place Kids Grief Center facility, in Kennewick. This milestone marks a significant step forward for the organization as it continues to expand and enhance programs and services.
Cork's Place, a cherished and essential part of our community, provides crucial support to children and families navigating the challenging journey of grief. In April of this year, Cork's Place operations were relocated to the same building as the Hospice House, in Kennewick, streamlining services and improving accessibility for those in need. This strategic move has allowed Tri-Cities Chaplaincy to consolidate resources and create a more integrated and comprehensive support system for individuals facing end-of-life and grief-related challenges. By sharing a building with our Hospice House, the Bereavement team can better serve our community by offering a wider range of services under one roof. “While the original Cork's Place Kids Grief Center home has been sold, we want to reassure our community that our programs are not only open but thriving at the new location with the new strategy,” said Laurie Jackson CEO of Tri-Cities Chaplaincy. “Our commitment to providing compassionate care and support to children and families coping with grief remains unwavering.” Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is deeply grateful for the support and trust our community has placed in us over the years. We look forward to continuing our mission of providing comfort, guidance, and healing to those in need as we embark on this new chapter in our organization's history.
