In 2023, Tri-Cities Chaplaincy continued its mission to provide compassionate care and support to individuals and families facing end-of-life journeys and coping with grief. Key highlights from the report include: Hospice Care: Tri-Cities Chaplaincy provided care and support to 954 hospice patients in Benton and Franklin counties, ensuring that each individual received personalized and dignified end-of-life care. Adult Bereavement Program: The organization's adult bereavement program extended support to 1,067 participants, offering a safe space for individuals to navigate the complex emotions associated with loss and grief. Cork's Place Kids Grief Center: Tri-Cities Chaplaincy's Cork's Place Kids Grief Center served 136 children and 144 adults, providing specialized tools and resources to help young ones and their families cope with the loss of a loved one. Volunteer Engagement: The dedication and commitment of volunteers remained instrumental in Tri-Cities Chaplaincy's operations, with volunteers contributing a total of 4,839 hours of service, offering comfort and companionship to those in need. Fundraising Success: Through various fundraising initiatives and community support, Tri-Cities Chaplaincy raised a total of $1.14 million in 2023. These funds are vital in sustaining the organization's impactful programs and ensuring that essential services continue to reach those who require them most.
