Yakima Federal Savings & Loan Donates $40,500 to Area Charities

Yakima Federal Savings and Loan is pleased to announce a contribution of $40,500 to local charities serving Central Washington. The donation will be distributed to 13 regional organizations that specialize in providing care, food and housing to those with needs in our community.

The charities receiving funding are: Yakima Valley Partners Habitat for Humanity, Tri-County Partners Habitat for Humanity, Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Charities Housing, Yakima Union Gospel Mission, Tri-Cities Union Gospel Mission, Camp Hope (Yakima), Rod's House (Yakima), Yakima Neighborhood Health, Love INC (Yakima), Second Chance Center (Tri-Cities), Grace Clinic (Tri-Cities) and Forge Youth Mentoring (Tri-Cities).

“These are organizations who are in the trenches every day doing the hard work for our communities” said Leanne Antonio, President and CEO of Yakima Federal Savings and Loan. “We are happy to be able to provide some extra help this year.”
 
This latest set of donations are part of an ongoing commitment to supporting local communities. So far in 2022, Yakima Federal has given more than $465,000 back in direct contributions to the community and over $70,000 in event and community sponsorships. In 2021, Yakima Federal donated over $430,000 to local community organizations.
