Congratulations to Vision Mortgage on being named the Tri-City Regional Chamber's Member of the Month for February 2023.
Vision Mortgage joined the Chamber shortly after opening their business over two decades ago. Vision Mortgage is a family and veteran-run business that understands the importance of supporting other small, locally owned businesses. Members of the Vision Mortgage team can be regularly found volunteering at Regional Chamber events. Kadlec has been a member of the Regional Chamber for nearly 40 years. Not only that, but Kadlec recently upgraded their membership to the Chamber's top investment level – Stakeholder. The Kadlec team is heavily involved with the Chamber, with staff members volunteering on the Regional Chamber's Board of Directors and Ambassador Club. Kadlec also sponsors several of the Regional Chamber's events, including the Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon and the Tri-Cities Women in Business Conference. Kadlec is involved in the community in many ways. They support the Tri-Cities Cancer Center, which provides outstanding cancer care to patients in our region. Kadlec has also been a long-time partner in the Coats for Kids program, which provides much-needed coats to children during the cold winter months. Kadlec's incredible team of health workers spends time helping those in need in the community, including staffing the Community Resource Desk, which provides connections to assistance for resources and much more. PayneWest is one of the Regional Chamber’s longest-tenured members, being an active member for over 40 years! The team at PayneWest has supported the Regional Chamber in many ways, such as sponsoring events, serving on the Board of Directors, and participating in LEARN groups. PayneWest annually gives back $500,000 to the communities they serve through their “PayneWest Gives” committee. Each November, the folks at PayneWest participate in a “Random Acts of Kindness” campaign, providing meals, support, supplies, and more to the those of greatest need in the Tri-Cities. Benton County has celebrated several major community accomplishments recently, such as breaking ground on the Center Parkway Extension, completing their new administration building, the launching of the first phase of Vista Field, and more. Along with those accomplishments, Benton County partnered with the Regional Chamber to launch the Benton County Business Resource Initiative – a program that will award $3 million to businesses in the county. Port of Kennewick has been a dedicated Chamber member for nearly 30 years and is an annual presenter at our State of the Ports Luncheon. The Regional Chamber has been fortunate enough to participate in many celebrations for projects the Port has put together over the years, such as the Clover Island renovation, Columbia Gardens Wine Village, and most recently, the major revitalization of Vista Field. In June, hundreds gathered to honor the unveiling of Vista Field, which will be a public-private endeavor as well as a collaboration with city and county partners. Trios has been active in the Tri-Cities community for many years, serving as one of the largest healthcare providers in the region. They are also a dedicated and active Chamber member, serving on our board of directors, speaking at events, and sponsoring programs. Trios Health is anchored by the Southridge Hospital. In March, the Chamber had the pleasure of watching Trios cut the ribbon on their brand new birth center. This brand-new, state-of-the-art facility will continue to serve our community’s newest members and families for years to come. Safe Harbor Has served the community since 1998. They consistently provide support for over 2,000 families in the Tri-Cities. Safe Harbor operates programs such as My Friends Place, Sails Outlet, Incredible Years, Parents for Parents, and more. All programs are dedicated to helping children and families heal from trauma and recover from abuse and neglect. Throughout the years the organization has adapted to fill the needs of our community. Communities in Schools serves five school districts in our region and works directly inside 34 schools. Their mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. They help students with basic needs, academic assistance, life skills, and more. They accomplish these needs with school-based site coordinators. These coordinators empower students to stay in school through individualized access to needed resources, and ongoing encouragement. Congratulations to Benton PUD on being named the Regional Chamber's Member of the Month for December 2021.
Benton PUD has been a member of the Regional Chamber for over 30 years and a Visionary Level member since 2012. They have consistently contributed to the Chamber’s leadership by serving on the Board of Directors and championing business-friendly public policy issues. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Benton PUD stepped up to help the community by providing a Customer Assistance Program. This program offers financial assistance to qualified customers, both residential and commercial, who were impacted by COVID-19. The program has been extended into 2022.
